The Battle-Nations.com is an unofficial gaming fan site for Z2Live’s game ‘Battle Nations’. It was created to provide a place for mutual, and like-minded, Battle Nations players to read, discuss and share knowledge and strategy of the Battle Nations game using message boards, FAQs and tutorials.
All areas of this web site provide a high level of integrity, privacy and respect for all users, and is consistent to proper gaming fan site structure and forum etiquette. Battle-Nations.com and its admin team, including its moderators and content providers, do their best to uphold that level of quality and integrity of the content found within this web site.
To help users understand what is considered proper site etiquette and good forum practices, the Terms and Conditions has been provided here. It is strongly suggested to review this document before posting. By everyone following the Terms and Conditions, we can help ensure that the Battle-Nations.com website and forums will be safe, and an enjoyable environment for everyone to use. Users are held accountable for their actions and content they create while visiting this web site. Not following the guidelines set forth within the Terms and Conditions, or violating any of the rules, may result in disciplinary actions, up to and including your account removed from the Battle-Nations.com website and/or legal action as required.
Battle-Nations.com administrators and moderators will always have the final say to its decisions and reserve the right to decide what is considered inappropriate behavior.
Battle-Nations.com, its administrators and moderators are held harmless from legal action against them for the actions of its users and are not responsible for the actions and content of its users.
Please see below the list of Terms and Conditions items that apply to this web site’s message boards, forum topics, replies, private messages, chat rooms, polls, FAQ’s, comments, user profile signatures, and any other form of communication within the battle-nations.com website.
1) Always respect other users and moderators of this web site.
As with many forum based web sites, disagreements and or conflicts may break out in a forum discussion. When disagreeing with others, please remember to be courteous. Debate on differing opinions is not a form of disrespect and therefore allowed.
2) No personal attacks. Personal attacks against other users or moderators is strictly forbidden and not allowed. Personal attacks are posts which insults another user or users directly.
3) No racial, ethnic or sexual suggestive slurs. No posts allowed that suggest discrimination of: disabilities, sexual orientation, gender, or race. Violation of this rule is a major breach of the Terms and Conditions.
4) No Sexual harassment, lewd comments or swearing. Both genders play Battle Nations and any inappropriate remarks to this web site’s users or moderators will be considered a breach of rules. Swearing, in any language, is also forbidden. All ages use this web site; please keep its content “family content friendly”.
5) No Flaming or Trolling. Flaming posts are posts that are designed to personally insult or berate another individual. Trolling is posting derogatory or inflammatory messages attempting to bait others into responding.
6) No Spam or Advertising of any sort. Be it personal, commercial or other gaming fan sites of any sort, except for the official battlenations.com web site and the promotion of registered clan groups of this site. Any posting of advertising nature will be removed without notice and is not allowed without prior administrator or supermoderator’s permission.
7) No Banned topics and content types including non-constructive posts, messages containing and illegal activity, or hacking, cracking and password sharing.
8) Posting Pictures and images: Users can post images and pictures so long they are not offensive, not sexually explicit, appropriate to the forum topic, is not threatening, contains no profanity, not derogatory, not obscene, does not depict illegal activity, is not hateful and is not racially or ethnically offensive. The image posting policy also applies to links to other sites with said image types or links to picture storage web sites containing the above. Some images may be the property of other individuals, websites, or commercial business and product/service branding. Ensure you have the rights to use those images before posting them here.
9) Lobbying: do not keep bringing up same topics in same or different forum topics. Repetitive posts for the purpose of making a point. Repeatedly going off-topic to keep going back to a point or views not shared the users of that thread.
10) Cross Posting: do not post the same topic or message in various forums within the Battle-Nations.com web site. To avoid cross posting and following good forum practice, please first see if a similar topic has already been created within the forums by checking the forum topic descriptions or using this site’s search engine.
11) “Add Me” posts: “Add Me” Posts are not allowed outside the official “Add Me” forum topic threads. Please use only the official “add me” forum to post this type of message.
12) Spam: repetitive topics and text in the forums is not permitted. Off topic and unsolicited posts of no substance and posts designed to annoy other users will be removed.
13) Petitioning: Posts containing any petitioning actions is not permitted. Petitioning could be in the form or asking for changes or additions to this web site, or in the Battle Nations game by its developers. One may post suggestions, ideas and improvements, but not have posts where anyone “signs” a petition within a forum or other areas of this web site.
14) “I’m quitting” posts: There can be no “I’m quitting” or “I’m leaving” exiting threads. Please find the “Good Bye Friends” thread to post a final message to your friends and peers here at this site. The “Good Bye Friends” post there must also conform to the Terms and Conditions
15) No false “obituary” posts.
16) Do Not Post anything directly about Battle Nations game exploits. Posting game exploits and ways of cheating is against site policy and exploits are to be reported to the support team at Z2live.com/Support.
17) There can be no posts of any sort containing threats or threatening intentions to other users or moderators of this site. Threats to outside third party person, organization or company are also not tolerated.
18) Do not post disruptive and off topic posts. Religion and politics can become volatile and disruptive and are discouraged as topics or message content, and if such posts become disruptive they will be subject to removal at the discretion of The moderator teams here at Battle-Nations.com.
19) Never impersonate another player, forum user, game developer or employee or Z2live, Administrator, Super Moderator or Moderator of this web site. This site does not allow any form of impersonation during registration, replying and posting content to this site and its forums.
20) Do not use profanity or any form of swearing. This is a family friendly site and has to remain “clean”. The profanity policy includes any method to bypass the content filters of this site. For example: using partial masking such as asterisks and symbols to replace some or part of a banned word, including misspelling of words to bypass the filter content.
21) No Conspiracy Threads. It is in bad taste and form to post claims or complaints about this site’s Administrators and Moderators acting in collusion with or showing favoritism to any individual, group, clan, company or organization.
22) Do not post anything that singles out an individual, clan or other users of this web site. There can be no ridicule, bullying or tormenting of any individual or group.
23) Posting on behalf of a suspended user is not allowed. Working around a suspension by using other user’s accounts, creation of new accounts or creation/use of secondary accounts to continue to post on this site is strictly prohibited. A suspension is based on an individual not an account registrated name. If an individual has more than one site registration login, all other logins will also be removed.
24) Banning and suspensions. If your login has been removed from this site after being banned or suspended and you would like to communicate with the administrative team, or you do not know why you have been suspended or banned, please contact the admin or supermoderator of this website at admin@battle-nations.com .
25) Show tolerance and respect to new users of this site, and/or new players of the battle Nations game. Do not call them ‘newbies’ or haze them, or treat them poorly in any way. Please make new players and users of this site feel welcome and support them as they may have some questions or require direction or orientation to this site or the battle nations game. Instead please welcome them and offer support. Remember we were all new once!
26) Do not post, relay, or broadcast any information between this web site’s administrative team or moderators to any user. This includes any private message, e-mail or any other correspondence to an individual or users of this web site. Publicizing any private correspondence, messages, private messages or chat logs is not permitted and requires permission from the administrator or supermoderator.
27) Do not post or reveal any personal information to others! Always respect current privacy laws and respect others privacy by not posting or re-posting anyone’s personal information. Do not release other people’s information such as: full names, city or town location, addresses, telephone number or email address, also any Facebook or Twitter or any other information to memberships of other web sites. This should also apply to your own personal information.
28) One may not post or start a forum topic that discuss moderator actions. Posts that complain why messages were removed, warning notices, infraction messages or any correspondence from the admin team or moderators are not alowed. Any questions or concerns regarding the above should be addressed via e-mail to admin@battle-nations.com.
29) Do not post or rebroadcast any “legal actions” or any “boycott” forum topics, replies to messages or any other form of messaging such as a signature lines. Any form of legal actions or threats of legal actions are taken very seriously and will be addressed as binding statements and treated as hostile and disruptive behavior. Questions or concerns pertaining to legal action can be addressed via e-mail to admin@battle-nations.com .
30) Do not post any sensitive or confidential information covered by a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) or a beta testing agreement.
31) Copyright infringement: do not post any trademarked or intellectual property of others including copyrighted material. Battle-Nations.com and its administrators and monitors will respond to copyright violations and will comply with any copyright infringement notifications.
32) Battle-nations.com and its administrators and moderators will comply to all law enforcement agencies and it’s representatives with regards to any user alleged breaking of any local and or international laws. Your information provided at registration and history of activity may be shared with law enforcement agencies upon written request.
33) The Terms and Conditions may be changed at any time and is subject to review and change from time to time. The expectation is: that users of this site check the Terms and Conditions periodically to see if any changes have taken place, or new items have been added as they are legally binding to you. The date and the version of the current Terms and Conditions are found on the bottom of this document.
